Spirit of St Francis Pilgrimage

The pilgrimage arrives at St Michael’s Compton Martin on Friday 4 September, with an evening service at 5pm. On Saturday 5 September, villagers are warmly invited to join the pilgrims walking to Wells, departing at 8.30am. You can join for the whole walk or part of the journey, including the 11.45am lunch stop at Stockhill Wood car park.

You can also take part from home through prayer and lighting a candle.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our village to welcome the pilgrims and share in a journey of peace, hope and reconciliation.
